Bigg Boss OTT 3: Payal Malik opens up on why she accepted Armaan’s second marriage to Kritika

Payal Malik got evicted last week, becoming the first contestant to be ousted from the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. Payal is the first wife of YouTuber Armaan Malik who later married Kritika. Now, Payal in an interview has opened up about her views on polygamy and revealed her personal experiences and reasons for accepting Armaan’s second marriage to Kritika Malik.

Payal Malik on being trolled

During an interview with News18, Payal reacted to the trolling that she and her family suffered after coming on Bigg Boss OTT 3. She said, “We have seen a lot of trolling in the first year so now we don't care much about it.”

For the unversed, Youtuber Armaan Malik had entered the Bigg Boss house with his two wives Payal and Kritika. The Youtuber was originally married to Payal but later married her best friend Kritika in a civil marriage. Their dynamics have grabbed a lot of attention with many criticising Armaan’s actions.

Speaking about her personal experiences, Payal said that she does not support polygamy and this should not be made acceptable to any woman and for the society. She said, “My personal experience has been very bad. Nobody else would have accepted this relationship. So many people say that we accept two marriages but I do not accept it. Nobody should have two marriages. This is not acceptable, for the society and for any woman.”

Payal also spoke about her reasons for accepting Armaan’s second marriage to Kritika and said that the uncomfortable feeling turned into love after they all started living together. “I was in such a situation that I had to accept it was very tough in the beginning but after accepting it we started living together and that feeling turned into love,” she added.
