Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan introduces Shilpa Shirodkar, Tajinder Pal Bagga, Shrutika Arjun, Nyra Banerjee and Chum Darang as the next batch of contestants

The Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18 has now officially begun. Right from the time the show got started, almost every single moment was worth its weight in gold. Salman Khan played his part of being a mentor to the hilt! He started off the lovely show with the introduction of his next batch of contestants.

The fourth contestant of the Salman Khan hosted happened to be the unconventional, bold superstar Shilpa Shirodkar. By her own admission, she confesses that she is a tenth standard fail.

Salman Khan, then introduces the show’s fifth contestant as Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, who has come with four T-shirts and one pyjama. He says that Salman Khan will be sharing his innerwear with him! He had joined politics at a very young age! He, very candidly confesses that everyone should know him as a politician.

Following that is the Bigg Boss 18’s sixth contestant. No prizes for guessing the name of the sixth contestant Shrutika Arjun, winner of the Tamil comedy show. Before that, she did four full fledged feature films, which had flopped miserably!

After the introduction of the initial six contestants, Salman Khan then moves onto introducing the audiences to the next lot of contestants, starting with Nyra Banerjee and the Arunachal Pradesh based actress Chum Darang, who has come with a mission of representing her state!

For all those who were wondering as to there was no sign of their favourite contestant Nia Sharma, then, let us tell you that readers may recall that, just a few hours before the show, there was a social media post by the lady herself. In the said post, she wrote, ‘To the fans and well-wishers I have disappointed, Sorry. Truly been overwhelmed by the tremendous support, love and crazy hype! Almost made me realise what I have earned in the last 14 years. Can’t say I didn’t enjoy the hype and attention. But please don’t blame me. It wasn’t me’.
