Bigg Boss 18 promo confirms Salman Khan to return as host, reveals this year’s theme - ‘Ab hoga time ka taandav...’

The next season of the popular television reality show Bigg Boss, hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan, is soon going to premiere. The makers of Bigg Boss unveiled the first promo of the upcoming season, hinting at the theme of the house. Season 18 will see the return of Salman Khan as the host of the reality television show.

Taking to Instagram, the makers of Bigg Boss shared the first promo of the upcoming season hinting at the theme of this year’s house. The video begins with an eye amid clouds with a voiceover from Salman Khan playing in the background which says, ‘ab Bigg Boss dekhenge gharwalon ka future. Ab hoga time ka tandav. (Bigg Boss will see the future of the housemates)’

The video ends with an eye being placed inside a gold clock and the words, ‘Bigg Boss coming soon’ appearing on the screens. The voiceover confirmed that Salman will be hosting the upcoming season. The actor had earlier ditched hosting Bigg Boss OTT 3, which was hosted by actor Anil Kapoor.

The makers captioned the promo video, “Taiyyar hojaiye, ab hoga time ka taandav. #BiggBoss18, coming soon on #JioCinemaPremium and @colorstv.”

Colors TV also shared the promo on their social media with the caption, “Hogi entertainment ki poori wish jab Time Ka Taandav lekar aayega Bigg Boss mein ek naya twist. Are you ready for Season 18? Dekhiye Bigg Boss 18, jald hi, Colors aur @officialjiocinema par.”

Bigg Boss Season 18 updates

The reality show is expected to have its world premiere in October. While not much is revealed about the contestants coming on the show, a source revealed that television actress Nia Sharma will be seen participating in the upcoming season. The source revealed, "Nia was finally ready to get herself locked inside the house and signed the dotted lines a couple of days ago. Along with her, the team is also quite excited about having her on board.”

Earlier, Splitsvilla-fame Digvijay Rathee was also reported to have been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss, though neither the makers nor Digvijay has confirmed the news.
