Bhumi Pednekar leaves fans intrigued with a poster of new chick flick with Anil Kapoor and Shehnaaz Gill
Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress dropped a picture of a girl taking off her top. Though her face is not visible, she sported long open hair and wore a casual top and trousers.
Last year, there were reports doing rounds that Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor have signed up for Karan Boolani’s movie. Though the makers had made no official confirmation, it was reported that the film will be a modern take on relationships. Well, the cat is out of the bag now as Bhumi teased her fans with the poster of the film in question.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress dropped a picture of a girl taking off her top. Though her face is not visible, she sported long open hair and wore a casual top and trousers. “Thank you for coming” is the text written on the poster. She captioned the post as, “The ComeBACK of the chick flick. Watch this space. #ThankYouForComing.” As soon as her post surfaced, Rhea Kapoor commented, “Love youuuuuu.”
Reportedly, the film will also have Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh and Shibani Bedi as part of the cast member. Reacting to the poster, Kusha wrote, “Let the kalesh beginnnnnnnn.” “From Kocktails to Kalesh forever,” commented, Shibani. Anil Kapoor, on the other hand, shared the same poster on his social media handle and wrote, “We'll be ‘ 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 ‘ shortly with a big announcement! #DontForgetToCome.” Following this, Bhumi reacted, “After a long wait, we’ve finally come #ThankYouForComing. “ Anil’s daughter and actress Sonam Kapoor also gave a shout-out as she also shared the poster on her Instagram handle. Meanwhile, the upcoming film will be Karan Boolani’s Hindi directorial debut film. According to reports, the film revolves around two girls who are in search of their biological father. TV actor Karan Kundrra is also expected to make a cameo in the film which is jointly produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The release date announcement is yet to be made by the makers.
