Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again: Anees Bazmee concerned about Diwali box office clash
Director Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is all set for a clash at the box office with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Both films are releasing on Diwali

Diwali 2024 looks set to be extra special for Hindi film fans as two big films, Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, are set to be released together. Singham Again was initially slated to be released on Independence Day (August 15), but yesterday (June 14), the makers announced that the movie will now be released during Diwali. This has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee worried, as he thinks that clashes are never good as it affects the business of all films.

Speaking about the Bhool Bhiulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again clash with HT City, Aness Bazmee highlighted that they had announced the release date of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 over a year ago.
Speaking further about the clash, he said, “I don’t know what to do. All films get affected when there is a clash; there is definitely loss in the process. And it is not about showing confidence in your product. Duniya ka har director, actor, and writer hamesha apni film ke baare mein confidently baat karta hai (Every director, actor, and writer always speak confidently about their films).”
Speaking about the change in release dates of big films, Anees said that he has not thought about changing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s release date, as they had decided it over a year ago. “Ajay (Devgn) is a good friend and these clashes are not in our control,” he added.
Helmed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan.
Singham Again's new release date
It was just yesterday (June 14) that the makers of Singham Again announced that the release date of the Ajay Devgn starrer had been pushed to Diwali. Sharing a poster image of Singham Again on social media, Ajay wrote, “#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024.”
Helmed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn, Karena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Jackie Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.
The film was earlier scheduled to release on August 15, but it is assumed that the makers wanted to avoid a clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 on the same date. Both films are backed by Jio Studios.
