Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office collection day 5: Kartik Aaryan-starrer witnesses a dip, mints only Rs 13 crore

    The Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has earned Rs 13 crore on day five of its release, according to the latest reports.

    It is not good news for the makers of Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as the box office collections of horror-comedy film is witnessing a dip. After crossing the Rs 100-crore mark in the first three days of its release, the film has seen a drop in occupancy rates, leading to low box office collections. It is reported that the film only earned Rs 13 crore on day five of its release.

    According to a report by Sacnilk.com, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned only Rs 13 on day five of its release (November 5). The total domestic box office collection of the film now stands at Rs 137 crore.

    Compared to the box office collections of its opening day at Rs 35 crore, the current collections are seeing a dip of more than 50 %. On day two of its release, the horror-comedy film earned Rs 37 crore while it minted Rs 33.5 crore on day three.

    The film saw an overall occupancy rate of 31.48% in Hindi on November 5. While the occupancy rate for the morning shows was at a low of 16.66%, the film benefited from night shows which marked an occupancy rate of 41.89%.

    The highest occupancy of the film was marked in Ahmedabad, followed by Surat, Mumbai, Jaipur and Lucknow. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 only had an occupancy of 22.00% in Delhi NCR region.

    The film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, alike. The film only earned Rs 18 crore on its first Monday (November 4).

    Starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, and Madhuri Dixit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is directed by filmmaker Anees Bazmee. It is the director’s fourth film which has crossed the 100-crore mark.

    The film is the third part of the successful Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise and marks the return of Rooh Baba and Manjulika. Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit are the new additions to the franchise.

    The film clashed with Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again, which also hit the theatres on November 1.
