Bholaa: Ajay Devgn to don the director's cap for the fourth time with the action flick

Ajay Devgn will once again grace the director’s chair with his upcoming actioner flick Bholaa . The movie is touted to be the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film Kaithi . The film will also be starring Tabu in a pivotal role.

The actor took to his social media handle to share a post announcing the same. Ajay Devgn shared a picture wherein he can be seen busy working behind the camera. The Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor captioned the same stating, “It's time to say ACTION again. Bholaa releasing on March 30th, 2023.” Take a look at the post.

The superstar had announced Bholaa which he is going to star in and direct in April earlier this year. The movie will reportedly star Tabu in the role of a super-cop. However, the film was earlier supposed to be directed by Dharmendra Sharma. Devgn’s earlier post about the film had stated, “Excited to share with all of you Bholaa, the official remake of the Tamil super hit Kaithi that has Tabu and me in the lead, will release worldwide on March 30, 2023. The action-drama is directed by Dharmendra Sharma.”

Well, it seems that Ajay Devgn has taken upon the reins of directing Bholaa upon himself and this will be nothing less than a treat for all of his plans. The film will be the 4th movie that will be helmed by the actor. He has earlier directed films like U Me Aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016), and Runway 34 (2022).

A source close to the development has revealed to Pinkvilla, “Ajay has been shooting for Bholaa at regular intervals at multiple locations since the month of January. In fact, he commenced an important schedule of the film in Hyderabad last month without much noise around the same. He is all set to finish the principal photography of Bholaa by August 20.” Apart from this, Ajay Devgn has films like Thank God , Maidaan , and Drishyam 2 in the pipeline.
