It was all a part of a fun reel for which the two came together.
For the unversed, Monalisa and Ali Asgar play Rama and Ashok Indoori respectively who share a love-hate relationship at Favvara Chowk. Hence the duo shared a reel that was like an ode to their characters. We can see Ali calling out some lovely and mushy names to Monalisa as part of a song like ‘Aashiq’, ‘Premi’, and ‘Awara’ but is instead showered with three incessant slaps by Monalisa. However, after the third slap, Ali has had enough and he in turn starts slapping the Nazar actress continuously. But all these are done in jest and parody and are part of reel audio. Monalisa plays the role of a beauty parlor owner and her character locks horns with Ali Asgar’s character who plays a head chef at a Dhaba. The show also stars Bharti Singh in a pivotal role. It will also be hosted by Bharti’s husband and screenwriter Haarsh Limbachiya.
