Bhojpuri singer Shilpi Raj refutes suicide rumours after her emotional post for mother goes viral, says 'kaam ka kuch pressure tha'

Bhojpuri singer Shilpi Raj has created a stir on the internet with her latest post on social media which somewhat appeared to be a suicide note to her fans. Recently, the singer took to her Facebook handle and penned a note dedicated to her mother saying that she doesn’t want to live anymore.

Shilpi wrote a note in Hindi which read, “I could not do well (1) neither studies (2) nor music... what I was and what I have become, to tell the truth, today I have definitely become a puppet, who does not understand what to do (mother) ) Only you were the one who warned me, But, now I don’t feel like living in this world, please forgive!” As soon as her post went online, it left her fans concerned about her well-being, while some wondered if she is planning to commit suicide. One of her fans wrote, “You are a very good artist. If you are thinking about suicide then it is wrong. This world is very beautiful. You should not do this”. The singer deleted her post a few hours after raising more concerns.

However, recently she went live on Facebook and clarified that she is alright and not thinking about committing suicide. She informed her fans that she was feeling low due to too much pressure on the work front. She also mentioned that she has been sick for a few days, however, she has recovered and doing perfectly fine now. She also stated that she is coming up with new songs and will be focused to keep her fans entertained.

Meanwhile, Shilpi Raj previously hit headlines after her MMS got leaked. On the professional front, at a very young age, she became the trending star of Bhojpuri cinema. She has so far sung several superhit Bhojpuri songs. She has crooned songs with Bhojpuri superstars Pawan Singh, Khesari Lal Yadav, and Pramod Premi Yadav, among others.
