Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh's wife Jyoti accuses him of abetting suicide and forcing her into abortion

Pawan Singh is one of the most popular actors in Bhojpuri cinema. The actor is currently hitting headlines for his controversial marital life. His wife Jyoti Singh has hurled serious allegations at him claiming that he instigated her to commit suicide and forced her to have an abortion. A case has been lodged against the actor at Ballia police station in Uttar Pradesh.

In the police complaint, Jyoti also accused Pawan of mentally torturing her. Inspector Praveen Kumar Singh, in-charge of the police station told Aaj Tak, “A complaint has been filed on behalf of Pawan Singh's wife Jyoti. We are probing this matter. Efforts were also made to talk to Pawan Singh, but he is not answering the calls.”Jyoti and Pawan got married in the year 2018 and the problem started just a few days after it. Jyoti in her complaint claimed that just a few days after her marriage, her mother-in-law started taunting her. She added that his mother had also taken around Rs 50 lakh from her which she got from her maternal home. She went on to add that the family also forced her to have an abortion. When she was pregnant, she was given such medicines due to which she had a miscarriage. She also alleged that Pawan used to abuse after drinking alcohol.

Meanwhile, Jyoti had also filed an application in the family court of Ballia district in April. She has demanded maintenance from Pawan Singh. The court has also sent a notice to Pawan Singh seeking his reply to the application. The court has asked Pawan to present his side by November 5. For the unversed, Pawan Singh's personal life has always been surrounded by controversies. Earlier, his first wife had committed suicide and now Jyoti, who is Pawan's second wife, charged serious allegations against him.
