Farhan Akhtar
Farhan Akhtar worked hard on his body to play athlete Milkha Singh in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Farhan’s dedication added to the success of the film, which was a massive hit and was widely appreciated.
Vidya Balan
To play the late South Indian actress Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan gained more than 20 kgs. She did this to get the voluptuous body of Silk Smitha. And her efforts were recognised, as she got a National Award for Best Actress for the movie.
Randeep Hooda
Randeep Hooda is popularly called the Christian Bale of India because of his ability to transform his body to fit his character. The actor lost over 20 kgs and did not cut his beard and hair for months to play Sarbjit Singh in the 2016 film Sarbjit. The actor again went on a transformation journey to play Indian freedom fighter Veer Sawarkar in Swatantra Veer Savarkar.
