‘Bas kar behen’: Janhvi sings Tumhe Kitna Pyaar Karte for Bawaal co-star Varun, leaves netizens with mixed feelings
Janhvi Kapoor impresses Varun Dhawan with her ‘Bawaal’ voice in viral video. But netizens are divided
Earlier this week, makers of Bawaal dropped the much awaited teaser of Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s first film together. Written and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the upcoming film has been co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The teaser left fans hooked till the end, with a very intriguing twist to what we thought was just a sweet love story. There were several netizens who slammed makers for the last scene, accusing them of using a tragedy like The Holocaust in the film. But the majority focused on Janhvi and Varun’s chemistry.
One of the major highlights in Bawaal’s teaser was the background song Tumhe Kitna Pyaar Karte in Arijit Singh’s melodious voice. Just last night, Varun took to his official social media handle to share a reel where he is lip syncing the heartwarming track while enjoying the monsoons. Soon after, he posted an Instagram story which featured his beautiful co-star Janhvi singing the song for him as they set out to promote their film. The actress looks pretty in a white kurta as she sits across Varun, singing for the camera as his muse.
The video has now been shared by the paparazzi on Instagram. While Varun can be heard saying ‘wow’ at the end of this clip, impressed by Janhvi, netizens have mixed feelings. Some lauded Janhvi and her voice in the comment section below. For instance, one wrote: “Janvi ke voice achi he 😍”, while another comment read: “Jhanvi ki awaj achi Hy.” However, there are some who are now trolling the actress. One troll shared, “Bas kar behen”, whereas another nasty comment read: “Zehar kha le admi ise bdia.” Meanwhile another netizen joked, “Papa Karan firse apne star kids logo ko cheer up karte huwe .....”
Well, social media might be divided about Janhvi’s voice, but we all are super excited about seeing the actress with Varun in Bawaal when it premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 21st July.
