'Bada maska laga rahe aap', says Janhvi Kapoor as paps compliment her at airport

Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her Telugu debut with Devara alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. The shooting of the film was going on in full swing but the makers have taken a break for three weeks for the Christmas and New Year holidays as per reports. Amid this, Janhvi was spotted at the airport heading for an undisclosed location. She was dressed in an off-white suit and looked fresh.

A paparazzi video has surfaced on the internet that shows Janhvi stepping out of the car and heading to the airport. She left her tresses open and carried a brown handbag to complete her look. A pap greeted her asking how is she, to which she replied, “Main thik hoon” and asked the pap in return how is he. “Main badhiya, aapko dekh liya ab toh aur ekdum thik,” he said and Janhvi smiled and replied, “Bada maska laga rahe hai aap (You are buttering me).” Check the video here:

Recently, Janhvi opened up about being Sridevi's daughter and how she felt about her legacy. “When I was doing my first film (Dhadak), I was so conscious that I wanted to stay aloof from my mother because people said that I got my first film because I am Sridevi's daughter. I went on a different trip and thought I wouldn’t take any help from her. If she acted a certain way, I would do the complete opposite. I used to tell her to not come on the sets, to not help me. I used to feel as if I had an unfair advantage, a trump card thinking ‘How many people have access to Sridevi Kapoor, who is the best actor to come out of India?’ I used to feel that it’s already an unfair advantage, it will be more unfair if I take her advice,” she said in an interview with Agenda AajTak.

Meanwhile, workwise, Janhvi was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. She also made a guest appearance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Next, the actress has interesting projects lined up in her kitty, including Mr & Mrs Mahi opposite Rajkummar Rao. She also has Devara and Ulajh.
