Bad Newz trailer - Triptii Dimri, Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk's chaotic tale of mishaps will leave you in splits

The makers of Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk and Vicky Kaushal's Bad Newz have just released the film’s trailer. It showcases the chaos that is soon going to unfold in a theatre near you. The sequel to Good Newz, this film features the chaotic tale of the main three characters, whose lives are turned upside down when Vicky and Ammy's characters become fathers to one child.

The makers of Bad Newz released the film’s trailer on Instagram. The trailer begins with Neha Dhupia’s character saying in the background, “Zor laga dimag par aur bata baap kaun hai (Think hard and tell me who the father is).” To this, Triptii's character said that she does not remember who the father is. The doctor asks her to do a paternity test after, which Triptii asks her partners to take.

Vicky, who plays Akhil Chaddha, is elated to hear the news of Triptii being pregnant but gets confused when she asks him to do a paternity test. Later, we are introduced to the other lead character, played by Ammy Virk.

A twist in the tale occurs when the doctor reveals that they have encountered a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon—heteropaternal superfecundation—where two eggs have been fertilised in the same cycle, hence both men are the fathers. This brings chaos into the lives of the three people and the two men enter a competition to showcase their competence to Triptii’s character.

Bad Newz is directed by Anand Tiwari and is jointly backed by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Tiwari.

Starring Triptii Dimri, Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, Bad Newz will be released in theatres on July 19. The film is a sequel to Good Newz, which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh.
