Baby John trailer OUT: Varun Dhawan's massy avatar is a treat; don't miss Salman Khan's kickass appearance

Varun Dhawan fans are excited to experience the actor bringing out his action avatar on screen with his upcoming film, Baby John. Kalees directed Baby John starring Varun along with Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi is a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri. As the release date of the film is inching closer, the makers of Baby John shared the trailer on social media on December 9. The trailer showcases the dark and gory look of the actor.

The trailer begins with a view of a coastal town and a voiceover from Varun saying, “Socho ke tum ek gaadi mein ja rahi ho aur raste par ek bhains baithi hai. Agar tumne pyaar se uss bhains ko bola hato kya wo hatega?"

The following visuals showcase the chemistry between Varun’s character and his daughter in the film. Later, he is shown training hard and indulging himself in action.

Varun in Baby John is introduced as someone who is ‘baccho ke liye bhagwan buro ke liye haiwan (God for children but a beast from bad people).’ Multiple slow-motion shots of Varun Dhawan’s entry scene showcase him as a police officer and a loving father to his daughter.

Actress Keerthy Suresh is introduced as Varun’s love interest in the film. In one scene, Wamiqa Gabbi is also introduced who is seen questioning Varun, “Dikhte to itne bhole bhale ho aur baccho ko violence sikhate ho (You look so innocent yet you teach them violence).”

Sanya Malhotra is also featured in one of the scenes. Jackie Shroff looks deadly as the antagonist. The main plot twist in the trailer comes when a case of a raped victim is revealed to Varun’s character who later goes into introspection. Interestingly, apart from Varun Dhawan fans, Salman Khan fans too have a reason to rejoice. The end scene in the trailer featured VD and Salman in an intense fight sequence. It has definitely raised the excitement to another level.
