Today, Ajay Devgn took to social media and shared an extremely endearing photograph of himself (how can anyone not like the ‘Singham man in a bespectacled look!) in order to announce that the trailer of his most awaited next film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. He captioned the post stating, ‘An epic love story on its way!’. He also revealed that, the film’s teaser will be dropped today at 1 pm. Ever since then, all the eyes of the netizens were trained on the clock to strike 1 pm!
And no sooner the clock struck 1 pm, almost everyone eagerly logged onto their respective social media accounts and tracked Ajay Devgn’s handle. The reason? Well… that’s where he was supposed to launch the much-awaited teaser of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which stars Ajay Devgn, with his on-screen partner in crime of many years and many films- Tabu!
And the trailer starts off with the trademarked baritone voice(over) of Ajay Devgn, wherein he says, “Jab dil se dua utha, barsaat ka Mausam tha… jo dard ka marham tha. Sau dard diye hain usne, ji dard ka marham tha. Humn ne hi sitam dhaaein, humne hi keher tode, dusman the humi apne, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha!”. If one had to decode Ajay Devgn’s lines, then, the film looks like an emotional film, which ‘could be laced with misunderstandings in the relationship!’.
The film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. As per the media statement, the film happens to be a musical romantic drama which will be spanning over 23 years. Additionally, the film has been set between 2000 and 2023. Besides the stellar cast of Ajay Devgn and Tabu, the film will also see the presence of Jimmy Shergill, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari.
While the film has been directed by Neeraj Pandey, it has been produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir & Shital Bhatia. The film, whose music has been composed by MM Kreem, has been scheduled to be released on July 5, 2024.
