'At this age he is carrying so much attitude': Salman Khan rejecting marriage proposal at IIFA triggers trolls

Actor Salman Khan is currently in Abu Dhabi for the 22nd edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards(IIFA) Rocks 2023. At the event, he interacted with the media, and one of the scribes proposed to him for marriage. The 57-year-old politely rejected it saying that his days of getting married are over. The video of the same has not been received well by a section of the netizens. They slammed him for showing an unnecessary attitude.

In the short clip doing rounds on the internet, a scribe could be heard saying, “I have come all the way from Hollywood to ask you this question. I fell in love the moment I saw you.” The actor quipped, “You are talking about Shah Rukh Khan right?” She then asked him, “Will you marry me?” And the actor said, “My days of getting married are over. You should have met me 20 years ago.” Soon after, the netizens left harsh reactions to the clip. The first user wrote, “Even Salman bhai knows the whole world loves SRK” The second user poked fun saying, “Bhai Dil main aatay hain ... Shaadi main nahe” The third user stated, “At this age he is carrying so much attitude, being a superstar he should b humble to people and media .. why such attitude?” “Overconfidence dekho iska,” added another. Salman has also shared a few videos from the ongoing IIFA on his Instagram handle. He posted a cute video with his niece and nephew and captioned it as , “Bache mujhe maamu bana rahe hain unko yeh nahin pata ki maamu cardio kar raha hai #iifa2023 @iifa” The other video features him with his sister Arpita Khan as they apparently watched the stage performance along with the audience.

Meanwhile, Salman was last seen in Farhad Samji’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He will next feature in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3 co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
