Asim Riaz not so subtly hints at Salman Khan pushing him out of Bhaijaan, and if history is proof it's a fight he doesn't want to pick

Asim Riaz has taken an indirect dig at Salman Khan and his upcoming film Bhaijaan and claimed that the makers used his name for over a year to gain attention but never signed him on for the project. The former Bigg Boss contestant never used any names but it is clear from the note shared by him that he has scores to settle with the Bollywood superstar.

According to the note shared by Asim on social media, an ‘influential personality’ from Bollywood approached his father for a film project. The media according to him confirmed and hyped the news of his casting but the film star apparently never kept his promise. Asim further stated that he doesn’t feel let down by this and it won’t stop him from finding his own path to success.

The note shared on Twitter read: “My Father was promised a movie project from an influential personality from the industry. More than 1 year they used my name for the hype of the project, all the big media publications spoke about it and confirmed it, all i want to say is all the fake promises won't make me feel down. The pressure and anxiety they have given me will never make me stop doing what i am doing ryt now so mujhey apney tour se duniya ko jeene de..”

Well, nearly a year ago, Asim’s name had cropped up in the casting of Salman Khan’s current film Bhaijaan (formerly called Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali ) where the Bigg Boss 13 runner up was touted to be playing the superstar’s on-screen brother. However, now that the film is being shot, it became clear that Asim is not a part of the production as was reported. Asim may not have made the cut but his Bigg Boss 13 contemporary Shehnaaz Gill sure did and is busy shooting for the film.

Asim’s clarification comes out of the blue and suggests at a tiff with the Bigg Boss host. Soon after posting the note, Asim also got brutally trolled by Salman Khan fans for his sly dig at the superstar instead of openly confronting the issue.

Supporters of Salman had rather mean things to say about Asim’s career as a rapper and didn’t show any restraint in suggesting that a tiff with the actor won’t go down well for him.

Saman is currently in Ladakh shooting for Bhaijaan. The project also stars Pooja Hedge, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari, Jassie Gill, Venkatesh among others. The film is all set to arrive in cinemas in December 2022.
