Aryan Khan's maiden web series to put the film industry in the spotlight, here's a big update about the cast

Shah Rukh Khan’s kids Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan are following into his footsteps and joining Bollywood soon enough. The two star kids’ whose debuts have been anticipated even before nepotism was thing, have chosen to follow their own path and have already begun working on their maiden projects.

While Suhana Khan’s debut film as an actress, The Archies, has been announced, now Aryan Khan’s debut project which is a web series is finally shaping up. The eldest son of Shah Rukh, Aryan has decided to mark his entry into the world of cinema as a web series writer.

The details of Aryan’s web series are still under wraps but the latest update on the project is that it has finally reached the casting stage. Aryan, who has studied filmmaking and writing at the University of Southern California, has written a web series about the film industry according to a report in ETimes.

The budding filmmaker and writer has co-written the show with Bilal Siddiqui who has previously worked with Red Chillies on the Netflix web series Bard of Blood. If all works out, the web series might be ready to go on floors by the year end.

As far as the casting is concerned, actors have already lined up to audition for the project and it might be long before the key members are finalised. Actor Prit Kamani, according to reports has already been roped in to star in the web series.

Unlike Shah Rukh Khan who dominates the big screens in the country as a Bollywood mega star, his kids have chosen to enter the entertainment world through the digital platforms. Apart from Aryan’s web series, his sister Suhana’s maiden project The Archies will also be a Netflix original.
