Aryan Khan fearful of social gatherings after jail time, Karan Johar had to coax him to attend his 50th b'day bash

Shah Rukh Khan ’s elder son Aryan Khan recently attended the filmmaker Karan Johar ’s star-studded 50th birthday bash. Dressed in a black suit, the actor’s made a silent entry into the party and looked sullen as he posed for the paparazzi. As per reports, it took a lot of persuasion from Karan as well as Shah Rukh and Gauri to convince him to attend the party. Here’s to know why!

Ever since Aryan was released after completing his 25 days long imprisonment in Arthur jail in connection with the Mumbai cruise party raid, he has become fearful of any social interaction. A close friend of the Khans revealed that he did not want to go to Karan’s party, only after his father and mother coaxed him did he decide to go.

“Aryan doesn’t want to attend any parties after what happened. He had attended that decisive rave party on a ship on the insistence of some friends. How was he to know it would change his life? Now he is fearful of any social interaction. He doesn’t even socialize with his closest friends. Aryan didn’t want to go for Karan’s birthday party. But Karan is close to the entire family. Shah Rukh, his wife Gauri, and Karan had to coax Aryan (to attend the party). In fact, he was reluctant to even attend the IPL matches to support his Dad’s team,” the close friend told Bollywood Hungama .

The friend also went on to reveal that the Khan family has not yet healed from the tragedy. “They may seem normal. But Aryan’s time in jail has imprisoned his entire family in a pall of gloom. Their sense of shared and individual happiness is for now, gone. So please let them solve their crisis and please don’t judge Aryan for not smiling. He is suffering.”

Meanwhile, Karan’s birthday was a starry affair that brought the entire film celebrities under one roof for his birthday celebration on May 25. Besides Shah Rukh’s family, Salman Khan , Aamir Khan , Saif Ali Khan , Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan , Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal , Ranveer Singh , Katrina Kaif , and Ranbir Kapoor among others were in attendance.
