Arnold Schwarzenegger eyes Presidential run: 'It's a no brainer

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Austrian-born movie star and ex-California governor, has no reservations about his political aspirations. If the Constitution didn't enforce a natural-born citizen clause for presidential contenders, Schwarzenegger would "absolutely" step into the race.

President Schwarzenegger? It Could Have Been

In a recent interview with Chris Wallace for the series Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, Schwarzenegger reveals his desire to throw his hat in the ring for the 2024 presidential election.

"The field is wide open right now," he explains. "Who is here today that people say okay, he's not too old or he's not too this or too that, or is that because it's now a question about who do you vote against than who do you vote for."

Schwarzenegger believes he could bridge the partisan divide and unify the nation, likening the current political landscape to the gubernatorial races he won in California in 2003 and 2006.

"It's All Doable": Schwarzenegger's Presidential Vision

"There's just so many things that need to be done. And can be done. And what makes it so wonderful is because it's doable," he continues. He sees a clear path to winning the election, stating, "Put me in because it's it look — it's a no brainer. I see so clearly how I could win that election."

As he prepares for his new role in the Netflix series, Fubar, and a documentary about his life, Schwarzenegger maintains his critical stance towards former President Donald Trump. In the past, he compared the Capitol riots to Nazi Germany's Kristallnacht, calling Trump "the worst president ever."

While it remains a dream for Schwarzenegger to run for president, his candid revelation has certainly piqued the public's interest.
