Arjun Kapoor marks 10 years in Bollywood with BTS stills from Ishaqzaade and a note; says the film ‘turbo-charged’ his dream
A decade ago, we were introduced to a talented young actor named Arjun Kapoor who left us impressed with his impactful performance in the film Ishaqzaade. Over the years he won hearts with many of his characters. However, Parma continues to be one of our favorites.
Actor Arjun Kapoor began his journey as an actor in Bollywood with Ishaqzaade 10 years ago. His raw acting chops, natural chemistry with co-star Parineeti Chopra and powerful dialogue delivery left audiences in awe. Well, in the last decade, he has been a part of many films. While some performances successfully entertained fans, a few others didn’t work out as expected. Nevertheless, we watched him evolve into a wonderful performer. He even inspired many fans out there with his incredible physical transformation.
Well, today the actor took to his official social media handle to celebrate 10 years of his acting career with BTS snaps from the sets of his debut film. In a heartwarming note below, he shared: “10 years of living and breathing Hindi cinema every second of my life. Truly indebted to Adi sir, @yrf and my director #HabibFaisal for giving me #Ishaqzaade - a movie that turbo-charged my dream to be a Hindi film hero! A big thank you to @parineetichopra for being the most amazing first co-star one could ever get. Last but not the least, also thankful to @shanoosharmarahihai for finding and helping me audition for Yash Raj Films .”

Arjun further expressed gratitude for making an under-confident kid believe in himself. He went on to add, “Here's to a decade of trying my best to entertain you all, with the promise of trying even harder in the future. Thank you everyone for the love, the smiles, the tears, the support and the kindness. Love you.” Well, one of the first comments on this post came from his lovely co-star Parineeti. She joked: “Celebrating a decade of not being polite to each other.”
Well, currently Arjun is busy with his envious line up of exiting films, which includes Ek Villain Returns with John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria , Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kuttey and The Lady Killer co-starring Bhumi Pednekar . We wish him all the best!
