'Anushka Sharma forgot how to act' : Netizens brutally troll the Chakda Xpress actress after her cameo act from Qala goes viral

It is not a hidden fact that fans of Anushka Sharma are waiting with bated breath to see her back with a bang on the big screen. We know that the actress will soon make a comeback in acting with the film Chakda Xpress but did you know she had a surprise cameo in the recently released Netflix movie Qala that is produced by her brother Karnesh Ssharma? Now, Anushka’s scene from the film has also been going viral on social media. However, it rather received strong negative criticism from the fans who were unimpressed with Anushka’s acting chops.

Talking about the same, Anushka Sharma’s cameo act sees her playing a yesteryear actress on a black and white screen who is lip-syncing to the song ‘Ghodey Pe Sawaar’ crooned by the film’s female protagonist Qala ( Tripti Dimri ). However, no sooner did the video go viral than the netizens started criticizing Anushka’s alleged over-the-top acting. Many users felt that the Pari actress is not able to emote the old world and vintage charm of an actress from the 60s and 70s. Some netizens also went to the extent of saying that Anushka forgot to act having stayed away from the acting sphere for such a long time. Take a look at the video.

One of the netizens stated, “Anushka Sharma forgot how to act...time to change my fav to Alia.” While another user said, “I love Anushka but this scene was painful to watch.” A netizen further added, “When the producer is your brother...U can get away with anything.” A user went on to add, “Sadly she couldn't pull this off! It's terrible.” Also taking a dig at her husband, a netizen said, “Virat Kohli is holding her career back.”

Well, seems like Anushka Sharma’s effort for a unique cameo appearance in Qala didn’t pass the vibe check from the netizens. However, fans are still looking forward to her sports biographical drama, Chakda Xpress. She will be playing the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
