Well, the fans of Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited Je Le Zaraa were in for a disappointment when there were strong speculations that both Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif have walked out of the project. However, all is not lost since now the makers might be considering two new female leads to replace the actresses. We are talking about none other than Anushka Sharma and Kiara Advani.
According to a news report in Filmfare, both Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif have left the movie and the makers are now considering Anushka Sharma and Kiara Advani. Well, Anushka and Kiara might also be an excellent addition to the cast along with Alia Bhatt. Anushka is all set to get back to acting with Chakda Xpress and her fans will be super thrilled to see her entering Jee Le Zaraa. On the other hand, Kiara Advani is establishing herself in the league of top actresses so it will also be great to see her join the cast of the women-led film.
An earlier report in Bollywood Hungama stated that Priyanka Chopra had walked out of Jee Le Zaraa for the dates coinciding with her other professional commitments. The report was quoted to state, “Priyanka Chopra was not able to commit the dates to shoot in 2023 due to her Hollywood commitments and asked Farhan if they could shoot for Jee Le Zaraa in 2024. While Farhan was fine with it, Alia Bhatt is already committed to shooting for Ramayana and Baiju Bawra in 2024. Given that the two films are going to be taxing, she couldn’t align her date for next year. When nothing fell in place, Farhan decided to delay the film until the right time.”
The movie is touted to be on a girl’s road trip similar to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which was directed by Farhan Akhtar’s sister Zoya Akhtar. The movie’s announcement left the fans overjoyed. Well, it will be interesting to see more updates surrounding the project.
