Anurag Kashyap reveals the real reason why Taapsee Pannu doesn’t want him to pose nude like Ranveer Singh
Bollywood’s livewire Ranveer Singh recently left netizens shocked when he stripped down to nothing for the camera. Well, Anurag Kashyap was suggested to have a similar photo shoot but the filmmaker revealed why Taapsee Pannu wouldn’t want it.
After delivering the very successful Manmarziyaan, actress Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap have reunited for the second time for their upcoming film, which is titled Dobaaraa . The two are currently busy on a promotional spree for the same and are having a gala time together. Recently they joined Siddharth Kannan for a fun chat, where they were asked why they haven’t graced Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan yet. To this Taapsee replied that her sex life isn’t exciting enough to be discussed.
Well, during the interaction the actress and director duo also reacted to Ranveer Singh ’s recent nude photo shoot for the cover of a popular magazine. The superstar stripped down to nothing for the cameras and took the internet by storm. While many called it tasteful and lauded Ranveer for going bold, some accused him of hurting sentiments of women and trolled him. Talking about the same, Anurag revealed that he had also left a message in the comment section under this post.
He had asked the actor not to put pressure on him. When Siddharth suggested that the director should also have a naked photo shoot like Ranveer, Taapsee replied, “Horror show mat chalu karo.” Siddharth joked that the actress is worried because Anurag will go viral and will gain publicity. Hearing this, Kashyap agreed and stated, “Yeh darti hai because I have bigger boobs than her.” Taapsee was speechless but ended up laughing. Netizens were also left in splits. One commented: “Nailed it.... Taapsee khamosh hogayi 😂”, while another message read: “Controversy's favourite child anurag kashyap... 🤣🤣🤣🤣”
Coming back to Dobaaraa-- the mystery drama is the Hindi remake of Spanish film Mirage. Also starring Pavail Gulati, it is set to release on 19th August.
