Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated across the country today (September 7). Celebrities from Bollywood and television are also celebrating the festival at their home and having a Ganapati puja. Marking the auspicious occasion, actress Ankita Lokhande shared pictures of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi at her home, along with her husband Vicky Jain.

Taking to Instagram, Ankita shared a few pictures of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi at her Mumbai home with her husband Vicky Jain. She captioned the post, “Ganpati bappa Morya.”

The first video features Ankita and Vicky doing an arti in their home. The second picture features the couple posing with the idol of Ganpati with folded hands, while the other picture showcases the couple with their new pet, a cat. In the pictures, Ankita has sported a bright navy-blue organza saree, paired with glossy red lips, pink blush and a black bindi. She completed her look with a stone-studded gold choker and a messy braid. Vicky complemented Ankita in a shimmering silver kurta set, topped with an embroidered vest and a cool hairdo.

Earlier, videos of Ankita buying Ganesh murti for her home along with her mother went viral online. In the videos, the actress was dressed in a maroon kurti set while holding the idol of Ganpati.

Other television celebrities such as Ritwik Dhanjani, Arjun Bijlani, and Maniesh Paul have also shared pictures of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in their homes. Bollywood actresses Sharvari Wagh, and Ananya Panday, among others, also celebrated the occasion with their families.

Ankita Lokhande’s films

Ankita made her acting debut with television show Pavitra after which she featured in films like Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Baaghi 3 and her recently released film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, alongside actor Randeep Hooda.

The actress recently made headlines when she danced along with actress Kangana Ranaut on the song ‘Dankila.’ Kangna danced with Ankita on the show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment where the actress had turned up to promote her upcoming film Emergency.
