Animal X Review: Ranbir Kapoor's film gets mixed reactions, netizens say 'made Kabir Singh look like a Disney movie'

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal was finally released today (December 1). Now, the X (formerly known as Twitter) reviews are coming in. The movie has managed to garner some polarizing views from the netizens however, Ranbir’s performance is being hailed as one of his career best.

Talking about the same, some netizens could not stop lauding Ranbir’s performances stating that he has outdone himself. However, other users felt that the movie has some allegedly disturbing and violent scenes even towards the female characters. Others revealed that other star casts like Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor have been wasted in the film. Take a look at some of the tweets.

One of the netizens stated, “RANBIR HAS NOT JUST OUTDONE HIMSELF BUT HAS UNLOCKED GOAT STATUS.” While a user said, “This 18 minutes interval action scene is going to set your screens on fire! NOT ONE OF THE BEST THIS IS "THE BEST" INTERVAL SCENE FOR ME.” A netizen said, “MADNESS IS A SMALL WORD. RANBIR KAPOOR, YOU DESERVE THIS MORE THAN ANYONE IN THIS INDUSTRY.” A user said, “Let it be carved in blood #RanbirKapoor𓃵 is the BEST Actor in the country. #Animal - The Most TERRIFIC, OUTSTANDING, MIND-BLOWING AND INSANELY INTENSE FILM OF 2023.” However, some netizens also criticized the film. A netizen said, “Glorifying Extramarital affairs and then using Woman as Sex toys is Gross even by Vanga standard. It made Kabir Singh look Disney movie, Too Much problems in 2nd half and it's dragged the film.” Another user added, “#Animal IS NOT EVERYONES CUP OF TEA! This may just become the most polarising #Bollywood film of 2023.” A netizen said, “After watching trailer I had great expectations for action but when I watched the movie Action wasn't that good.” A user said, “As expected #Animal getting negative and average rating from all over the world. Thanks to Shah Rukh Khan for saving brahmastra last year.”

Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles. The movie has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The movie witnesses a clash at the box office with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur.
