Ananya Panday's BTS pics from Vikramaditya Motwane's CTRL set have an Amol Palekar connection; fans give her a new name

Bollywood star Ananya Panday needs no introduction. In a very short span of time, this young lady has made a name for herself, with utmost grit, dedication and determination. After having slayed Bollywood with her debut film Student Of the Year 2, Ananya Panday recently made her OTT debut as well with Call Me Bae, which was very well received by the audiences and the critics alike.

This time round, the ‘winning pair’ of Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat is back again to enthral the audiences with their latest offering CTRL, which will be streamed in a couple of days on Netflix. Ever since the time the film was announced, fans simply cannot hold on to their patience to see Ananya Panday in it.

Till the time the film releases, Ananya Panday decided to treat her fans and followers with a very cute BTS from the film. Guess what! The petite Ananya Panday can be seen sporting a moustache in these pics! After dropping a bunch of BTS pics from the film CTRL, she even captioned the same saying, ‘Ananya Pande Ne aaj to uncle ban gaya Chande Pandey’. The icing on the cake was however her holding a mobile phone whose screen showed the veteran actor Amol Palekar, with a moustache!

After seeing this, it was totally needless to say that the fans just could not hold onto their excitement, which was pretty much evident from the comments that they had posted on the post. One user wrote, ‘OMG! Where is my Ananya Panday? She looks more like Anand Panday and Vijay Deverekonda! She is no longer Ananya. She is Anand now! If this is what we will be treated with in CTRL, I will be seeing it the very moment it gets dropped on Netflix’.

Another user wrote, ‘These pics show the versatility of Ananya Panday. This is a slap on all those people who called her a by-product of nepotism. Had it not been for versatility and talent as an actress, she would not have come this far… all on the merit of her own and without having taken resort to any kind of surname if hers!’.

As for the film CTRL, besides Ananya Panday, it also stars Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, Ravish Desai and Aparshakti Khurana in all important roles. While the film has been directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, it has been produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon.

The film is all set to be streamed on Netflix on October 4.
