    Bollywood star Ananya Panday is all set to make her first on-screen appearance with senior actors Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan in her upcoming project. The untitled film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The makers of the film took to social media to announce the exciting news, revealing that the film will hit the theatres in March 2025.

    Taking to the official Instagram handle of Dharma Productions, the makers of the film shared a poster that hints at the possible storyline of the film as well. Starring Ananya Panday, Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, the untitled project will release in theatres on March 14, 2025. It will be directed by filmmaker Karan Singh Tyagi.

    The text of the poster states, “The untitled film on the shocking cover-up of a massacre that pushed India’s top barrister C. Sankaran Nair to fight an unprecedented battle against the British empire.” The poster adds that the film is inspired by real-life events and adapted from the book “The Case That Shook The Empire” written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Patat.

    The makers captioned the post, “एक अनकही कहानी, एक अनसुना सच (One unsaid story, one unheard truth) Starring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan & Ananya Panday - this untitled film is releasing in cinemas on 14th March 2025. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.”

    Acting projects

    Ananya Panday was last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s thriller drama film CTRL where she played the role of Nella, a social media influencer who gets entangled in a murder mystery.

    Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, last featured in a comedy-drama film titled Khel Khel Mein and starred alongside Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and Ammy Virk, among others. The actor also had a cameo appearance in the blockbuster horror-comedy film Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.

    R. Madhavan last featured alongside Ajay Devgn in the horror-drama film Shaitaan, where he played the role of an antagonist.
