Amitabh Bachchan fandom greets Milind Soman in Egypt as soon as he lands: 'First thing I hear from security ..'

Milind Soman is in Egypt at the moment and seems to have been introduced to the country's love for Bollywood from the moment he set foot there. The actor who regularly updates his fans and followers on social media about his daily life tweeted about his run-in with a big Amitabh Bachchan fan in the country.

Amitabh Bachchan's fandom is certainly global but Indians being recognized based on the star's following is certainly heartwarmingly on display in Egypt. Milind's tweet read,"Just landed Egypt. First thing I hear from security is 'You India?? Amitabh Bachchan very good actor, Amar Akbar Anthony !!!!!' such fun"

Bollywood's 'Angry young man' has enjoyed unprecedented fan following in Egypt for decades and looks like the craze still carries on. Even some of his not so well to do movies in India have found an audience in Egypt in the past and was the veteran actor soldiers on in Bollywood his fandom only grows. 

This is not the first time Egyptian fans of Bollywood have put their love for the Hindi film industry on display. Last year an Indian woman's tweet went viral about how a travel agent from the country had helped her out with her tickets after her payment got stuck simply because he was a big Shah Rukh Khan fan and she was from his country. 

Shah Rukh is later reported to have sent the Egyptian fan signed headshots of himself after the Indian professor's tweets went viral along with the picture of the fan.
