Alpha: Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to begin shooting for spy thriller’s next schedule in Kashmir?

    Amid the news of Hrithik Roshan joining Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh-starrer Alpha, reports reveal that the star cast will begin shooting for the film's next schedule in Kashmir.

    Bollywood actresses Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will mark their first on-screen collaboration with Yash Raj Films produced spy thriller film Alpha. Amid the news of actor Hrithik Roshan joining Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh-starrer Alpha, reports reveal that the star cast will begin shooting for the film's next schedule in Kashmir on August 24.

    According to a recent report by Dainik Bhaskar, actresses Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will begin shooting for their upcoming film Alpha’s next schedule in Kashmir on August 24. The reports also reveal that the duo will be filming action sequences amid the scenic landscapes of the valley.

    The report also revealed that actor Anil Kapoor will also be joining Alia and Sharvari for the Kashmir schedule but actor Bobby Deol who is again essaying the role of an antagonist will skip the Kashmir schedule. It is reported that Bobby will be portraying the role of an arms dealer who will battle against Sharvari and then Alia. Anil and Bobby will be coming together in a film after Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal.

    Hrithik Roshan’s cameo in Alpha

    If reports are to be believed, actor Hrithik Roshan will be making a cameo performance as Kabir from YRF’s War and will act as Alia’s mentor in the film. Speaking about Alia Bhatt’s role in the film, a source revealed, “Alia's character in Alpha is a multi-layered one, spanning several years. It's a challenging yet exciting role for her.”

    The YRF-produced film, Alpha, is directed by Shiv Rawail and is slated for a 2025 release.

    Sharvari was last seen in her recently released film Vedaa, alongside actor John Abraham. While the film opened with less than Rs 10 crore mark, it received praise from audiences and critics, alike.

    Alia, on the other hand, was last seen in Karan Johar’s directorial film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, alongside actor Ranveer Singh. The actress will be next seen in the high-octane action-adventure film titled Jigra, alongside The Archies actor Vedang Raina. The film is directed by Vasan Bala.

    Other films in YRF’s spy universe include Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Salman Khan’s Tiger and Hrithik Roshan’s War.
