Alia Bhatt wants to give Ranbir an award for this reason, reveals her baby kicked throughout her speech; watch
During her acceptance speech at an award ceremony, actress Alia Bhatt revealed how she and her ‘little one’ who is yet to come into the world were impacted by the award she received.
Just last night, Alia Bhatt gave us a good look at her fabulous outfit for a prestigious award ceremony which she attended in Singapore recently. The actress looked extremely glamorous in a copper gold gown with a plunging neckline custom made by Gauri and Nainika, with a long cape falling behind her. She completed her breathtaking avatar with messy hair, natural makeup and statement rings and earrings. Alia looked super happy as she posed with her trophy, which she was honored with at the award function.
During her acceptance speech at the star-studded affair, Alia recalled how a decade ago when she began her journey in the industry, she thought about how she would take over the world one day. The beauty also talked about her flaws as well as her strengths before thanking her family. Alia expressed her gratitude to them for patiently listening to her and constantly being there for her. She went on to thank sister Shaheen Bhatt and husband Ranbir Kapoor before adding, “I need to give them separate awards for putting up with me on a daily basis.”
The beauty, who is currently expecting her first child with Ranbir, also gave a special mention to her ‘little one’. Alia stated, “And lastly, when it comes to making an impact, I hope I can continue to do so in whatever way possible. But for now, tonight, this award has genuinely made an impact on me—me and my little one, who has relentlessly kicked me throughout this speech. Thank you so much.” Awwww! It is so sweet to hear that Alia’s baby was a part of her special day.
During the first few months of her pregnancy, the actress completed Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and her Hollywood debut film Heart Of Stone. Currently, Alia is soaring high on the success of Brahmastra, which marks her first film with Ranbir.
