Alia Bhatt reveals her obsession with Sara Ali Khan’s brother Ibrahim on Koffee With Karan 7; says ‘Iggy I love you’
Sara Ali Khan’s brother Ibrahim Ali Khan has begun his journey in Bollywood as an assistant director on Karan Johar’s upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which is being headlined by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
The first episode of Karan Johar ’s chat show Koffee With Karan 7 , which premiered on Disney + Hotstar last night, was graced by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh . The two are coming together on-screen once again for the filmmaker’s upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and had lots to talk about. Well, during her appearance on the koffee couch, Alia not only opened up about her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor but also shared her obsession with Saif Ali Khan ’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan , who is an assistant director on KJo’s family dramedy.
When asked to share the best compliment she received from the industry for her work in Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia stated that everybody was very loving and it was amazing. She went on to add, “But there’s one person, Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is my.. like I love him, I’m obsessed with him. He is the most cutest person I've ever met in my life. He sent me the most amazing message. Can I please..” She then took out her phone and read out the text sent to her by Ibrahim.
Alia shared, “And Iggy I love you, I'm just doing this because your message was so, so cute. He's messaged me 'Had to remove the time to message you personally. I cannot believe this is the same lady I learn from every time I am on set. You are just phenomenal. You are so, so good as Gangu and seeing you as Rani, and then watching this film, it's safe to say you mould yourself effortlessly like water taking shape of its container. So, so good! Best actress in this country’. I thought it was the cutest message. I’ve read this message out to everybody.”
While KJo joked that Ibrahim has gone ‘Bruce Lee’ on Alia, Ranveer thanked Iggy sir for ‘removing the time’ to message Alia. Well, we can’t help but agree that Ibrahim’s text and mini review of the actress’ performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi is super sweet!
