Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor's cozy new year celebration with friends was all about love, friends and laughs

Bollywood’s most loved couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had an intimate new year celebration with their close ones on Saturday night. The couple opted for a cozy house party with friends at their balcony. Alia took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of her happy moments from New Year’s eve. The series of photos had Aditya Roy Kapur, Shaheen Bhatt, filmmaker Luv Ranjan, Rohit Dhawan, and his wife Jaanvi Dhawan, among others.

Alia looked pretty in a silk nightsuit with hearts printed on it, and Ranbir wore a black nightsuit. In one of the pictures, the couple along with others are sharing a hearty laugh. The balcony is seen decorated with lights and candles. “Happy new new… with my loveliest ones,” Alia captioned the post. Soon after the post surfaced, her fans flooded the comment section with new year wishes.

Some also asked about her friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, who was not seen in the pictures. “Anyways where is Ayan or he is the one clicking the photos,”wrote one of the users. Another commented, “Alia love for her terrace in 2022.” One of them also missed Alia-Ranbir’s daughter Raha Kapoor in the photos. “It's Raha's first ever New Year. Expected to have some glimpse of her head/hand/leg today,” wrote the user.

Alia and Ranbir got married on April 14, 2022 in an intimate wedding ceremony in presence of their family members and close friends at their Vastu home. Later in November, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl, who they named Raha Kapoor. On the work front, the two have quite an impressive lineup of projects. Alia will soon be making her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stones alongside Gal Gadot. She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-starring Ranveer Singh. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Luv Ranjan’s untitled romantic comedy with Shraddha Kapoor in the pipeline.
