Alia Bhatt heads off to shoot for her debut Hollywood project Heart Of Stone, says 'feel like a newcomer'

Alia Bhatt has jetted off to the UK to begin shooting for her Hollywood film Heart Of Stone . The actress shared an endearing post where she stated her current frame of mind. Alia also posted a lovely selfie of herself while presumably on her way to the airport.

Talking about the same, Alia Bhatt shared a flawless selfie of herself on her social media account. The Student Of The Year actress can be seen flaunting her flawless skin and has donned a white tee along with a bracelet and hoop earrings. The actress captioned the same stating, “And off I go to shoot my first ever Hollywood film!!!! Feel like a newcomer all over again - so nervous. Wish me luck.” Take a look at her post.

Her mother Soni Razdan, sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, veteran journalist Barkha Dutt along with many of her friends from the film fraternity like Arjun Kapoor , Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Huma Qureshi, and others wished her luck for this new endeavor. Alia Bhatt’s sister Pooja Bhatt commented stating, “Life is now making possible what was absolutely inevitable! The WORLD is your playground! And you will dazzle even more! So proud.” While actor Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Am sure they have done their homework and they are more nervous. Best wishes always.”

Talking about Alia Bhatt’s debut Hollywood film Heart Of Stone, the movie also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the lead roles. The film will be helmed by British filmmaker Tom Harper. Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder have contributed to the script of the same. However, the plot details are being kept under wraps.

As per a Deadline report, the project will be produced by Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger along with Mockingbird's Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn and Pilot Wave's Gadot and Jaron Varsano. Harper, Rucka, and Patty Whitcher will be executively producing. It has been earlier reported that Alia will be devoting 4 months to the project and is expected to wrap up the shoot by August.
