Alia Bhatt explains how she and Ranbir Kapoor are always available for daughter Raha despite their busy schedules
Actress and Raha Kapoor’s mom Alia Bhatt opens up about how she manages work and parent duties with husband Ranbir Kapoor
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who are currently in the prime of their acting careers, follow a very hectic work schedule with back to back films, commercials and other projects in their kitty. In fact, just a few days after tying the nuptial knot at their house in a private wedding ceremony, Alia jetted off for work. But despite their busy work life, the doting parents always manage to prioritize their darling daughter Raha Kapoor, setting goals for other mommies and daddies. In a recent interview, Alia explained how Ranbir and she split their parenting duties.
While talking to CNBC-TV18, Alia shared, “I steer away from giving parenting advice because I feel everybody’s journey is different. I come from a position of privilege where I can afford help if I am not available. My husband (Ranbir) and I, very early on, decided that either of us should be there, available for Raha at all times. So we are constantly splitting our roles. If I am traveling he’s home, if he’s traveling I am at home, just one of us should be with her at all times.”
The actress went on to add, “If we cannot manage to schedule we have grandparents ready to kind of jump up and be happy helpers.” Raha will clearly always be Alia and Ranbir’s top priority, as she should be. She truly is lucky to have such a loving family including her grandmothers Soni Razdan and Neetu Kapoor. Well, today Raha is celebrating International Women’s Day with her mom Alia. The actress took to her official social media handle some time back to show fans the gift her daughter made for her.
In the caption below, Alia shared, “my little woman made this for me... & I share this with all of you.. Happy women’s day ladies. Take a minute to celebrate yourself today and every day for the rest of your life! ♥️.” Well, we wish Raha and her mommy Alia a very happy Women’s Day.
