Alaya F pens down gratitude note for Priyanka Chopra Jonas for naming her Bollywood's next superstar

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently busy promoting her upcoming Amazon Prime series Citadel .She recently attended the South by Southwest 2023 (SXSW 2023) festival in Texas, where she was quizzed about who think could be the next Bollywood star in the industry. She first named Alia Bhatt, but later corrected herself by saying that she is already a superstar. Then she picked Alaya F ’s name, saying that she has a unique perspective and not trying to be like everyone else.

Overwhelmed by Priyanka’s response, Alaya took to her Instagram stories and penned down a gratitude note for her favourite actress. She shared the video clip of Priyanka where she praised her, and wrote, “I can't even begin to describe how overwhelmed and grateful I'm feeling!! When your most most most favourite actor picks you when asked who they think deserves to be the next Bollywood superstar, there is LITERALLY no better feeling in the world!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you @priyankachopra Going to be smiling and dancing all day." Take a look:

Alaya is the daughter of Pooja Bedi, and the granddaughter of veteran actor Kabir Bedi. She made her acting debut with Jawaani Jaaneman in 2020 alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. She also worked with Kartik Aaryan in thriller drama Freddy. She was recently seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Almost Pyaar with Dj Mohabbat co-starring Karan Mehta and Vicky Kaushal. Up next, she will be seen in Srikant Bhola biopic titled SRI alongside Rajkummar Rao.

On the other hand, Priyanka is headlining the series Citadel alongside actor Richard Madden. The action drama series is scheduled to premiere on April 28. She is also geared up to make smashing comeback to Bollywood with Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
