Akshay Kumar upholds 18 years of tradition, dedicates 100-plus days for holidays in his 2024 work plan

Akshay Kumar’s career in the film industry spans over three decades, and he has maintained a healthy work-life balance. The superstar is known to follow a strict lifestyle while navigating professional commitments. Upholding his 18 years of tradition, the actor has meticulously planned his upcoming year, devoting over 100 days to holidays as per reports.

The superstar’s 2024 holiday plan encompasses 52 Sundays, a 30-day summer break, 10 days for Diwali celebrations, 10 days for birthdays and another 10 days to celebrate the New Year. Besides this, he has 4 to 5 films to shoot this year including Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5 and Welcome To The Jungle, and around 20 brand shoots. The actor assigned himself daily work shifts from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm as per reports from Pinkvilla.

The Sooryavashi actor has also kept a deliberate six-month hiatus between his last release, Mission and his upcoming movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. His decision was made based on feedback from well-wishers. Earlier, the actor favoured high visibility with back-to-back releases which didn’t quite work well for him. He also caught himself on the receiving end of criticism for doing many movies in a year.

Akshay is currently geared up for the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-starring Tiger Shroff. On January 1, the actor unveiled an exciting sneak peek of the film wherein he and Tiger can be seen cruising through the waters on a jet ski.”Aapka naya saal Bada bane, chhoti chhoti khushiyon se. Besides Jolly LLB 3, The Housefull 5 and Welcome To The Jungle, Akshay also has other interesting projects lined up in his kitty. He is all set to feature in the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru co-starring Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal. He will also be seen in the biography of C Sankaran Nair. He has a cameo appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
