Akshay Kumar starrer Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake has an exciting cameo by Suriya, latter says 'enjoyed every minute'

It was earlier reported that Akshay Kumar will be starring in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster aviation drama Soorarai Pottru which starred Suriya in the lead role. However, the latest exciting development surrounding the movie suggests that Suriya will also be having a cameo in the movie. He took to his social media handle to announce the same and also shared a lovely picture with Akshay.

Talking about the same, the picture shows Akshay Kumar and Suriya sitting near an aircraft. While Akshay can be seen wearing a black shirt with glares, Suriya can be seen lying in front of him. The Jai Bhim actor can be seen donning a blue shirt which he has paired up with jeans of the same color.

Suriya captioned the post stating, “@akshaykumar Sir to see you as #VIR was nostalgic! @Sudha_Kongara can see our story beautifully coming alive again #Maara! Enjoyed every minute with team #SooraraiPottru Hindi in a brief cameo! @vikramix.” For the unversed, the Hindi remake is also being directed by Sudha Kongara who had previously helmed the original 2020 movie. The Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru will also be starring Radhika Madan in the main role. Reportedly, Suriya had also become a part of the Pooja ceremony which was helmed before the shooting of the Hindi remake started. The Singam 2 actor had headed off to Mumbai after Akshay had requested him to also be a part of the kickstarting ceremony of the movie.

Earlier in April this year, Akshay Kumar had shared a beautiful video that showed Radhika Madan breaking a coconut as he and director Sudha Kongara cheered for her. He hinted that this marked the beginning of their shooting for the Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake. The movie also marks the first collaboration between Akshay and Radhika.
