Akshay Kumar-starrer Housefull 5 enters its final schedule; check out picture of the star cast

The comedy-drama franchise, Housefull, is all set to return with its fifth installment, starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and Chunky Pandey among others. Now, the makers of Housefull 5 have revealed that the star cast has begun shooting for the last schedule of the film, hinting that the movie could be released next year.

Housefull 5 last schedule begins

Taking to Instagram, the makers of Housefull 5 shared a picture of the star cast and revealed that they have begun shooting for the last schedule of the film. The caption states, Cruising through the last schedule of our cinematic journey! #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5. Directed by @Tarunmansukhani.”

Helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chitrangda Singh, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Pandey, Dino Morea, Johnny Lever and Nikitin Dheer.

Housefull films

Housefull film series began in 2010 with the lead star cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor and Chunky Pandey.

Its sequel released in 2012 titled Housefull 2 and saw the addition of John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Zareen Khan among others.

The third film in the installment Housefull 3 released in 2016 and starred Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon, Boman Irani, and Jackie Shroff along with the main star cast comprising of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Chunky Pandey.

The fourth film released in 2019 and featured Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Ranjeet, Jamie Lever, Sharad Kelkar, and Rana Daggubati along with Akshay and Riteish.

The first two films were directed by Sajid Khan while the third was directed by Sajid-Farhad, and the fourth instalment was helmed partly by Sajid Khan and was completed by Farhad Samji.
