Akshay Kumar has an epic reply when asked about Prithviraj Chauhan's birthplace

Akshay Kumar launched the trailer of Prithviraj Chauhan with much fanfare in the city yesterday (May 9). During the event, one of the media personnel asked Akshay a trivia question surrounding the courageous king’s birthplace. To this, the superstar had an epic reply which will leave all his fans in awe of him.

Talking about the same, according to a news report in Pinkvilla, the media personnel asked Akshay Kumar, where was Prithviraj Chauhan born out of Gujarat or Rajasthan. To this, the Phir Hera Pheri actor said that the important thing is that the brave king was from India. Akshay gave a powerful reply and said, “I think Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan was from Hindustan. He was from Hindustan, and I will only say that these things don’t matter, he was from Hindustan no matter where he lived, he was the son of Bharat Mata and that is more important than anything. After seeing Britishers divide and rule on us, at least now, we should now understand. Let’s leave the question about where he was from, how he was, the most important thing is that he was from our country and that is enough.”

Meanwhile, talking about the trailer of Prithviraj Chauhan narrates the valor and courage of the king as well as his battle with Muhammad Ghori and love story with his wife Sanyogita. In the trailer launch of the film, Akshay Kumar also revealed how he had goosebumps while he was being narrated the script of Prithviraj. The actor said, “It brings together history, patriotism, the portrayal of the values that we should live by, and also tells a story of love that is rare to find.”

Talking about Prithviraj, it has been helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The movie marks the Bollywood debut of Manushi Chillar and also stars Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is set to be released on June 10, 2022.
