Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi was overjoyed after Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar visited him on the set of his upcoming movie, Vishwambhara. Ajith, who was shooting for Good Ugly Bad in Hyderabad at the same location as Chiranjeevi, took the opportunity to meet and greet the cast and crew of Vishwambhara.

In a heartfelt note, Chiranjeevi expressed his delight in meeting Ajith and revealed that the two reminisced about old times during their recent meeting. Chiranjeevi fondly recalled the days when he launched the music album of Ajith's Telugu debut movie, Prema Pusthakam (1993).

"Had a surprise star guest on the sets of #Vishwambhara last evening. The very affectionate Ajith Kumar, who’s shooting next door, visited and we spent some great time chatting and fondly recollecting the time of his debut film ‘Prema Pusthakam,’ whose music launch was done by me. And what’s more, his better half, Shalini, acted as one of the endearing kids in my film ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.’ Clearly, there were memories galore to cherish. I was so delighted at the peaks of stardom Ajith has attained over the years and yet how he remained a beautiful soul at heart!" he added.

Prema Pusthakam remained the only direct Telugu movie in Ajith's career. As Ajith's career took off, he focused all his time and dedication on solidifying his position in Tamil cinema. The only other non-Tamil film in Ajith's career is Aśoka, where he essayed a cameo role in the 2001 historical drama starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

In the meantime, Ajith is busy shooting for Good Ugly Bad, which is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film is expected to be a crime comedy and is set to hit the screens during Pongal next year.
