Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's upcoming film, Vidaa Muyarchi, faced a slight delay due to the financial issues of its producers, Lyca Productions. The latest buzz is that the filmmakers plan to wrap up the remaining portions of the movie in a single stretch and give it a grand release in the next few months.

According to industry sources, Suresh Chandra, the manager of Ajith Kumar, has revealed that the filmmakers plan to release the movie during the Deepavali holiday. If this is true, then Vidaa Muyarchi might clash directly with Suriya's much-awaited movie, Kanguva.

The producers of Kanguva have also reportedly zeroed in on a date closer to the Deepavali holiday to fully capitalize on the movie's pre-release hype. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

Earlier, Vidaa Muyarchi was expected to hit the screens on May 1, coinciding with the Labour Day holiday and Ajith's birthday. However, it didn't happen due to production delays.

According to industry sources, Lyca Productions is facing a serious cash crunch. Earlier, producer Dhananjayan noted that the production company has fallen on hard times as some of its projects didn't yield the expected outcomes. Specifically, the company seems to have faced a serious setback after Lal Salaam, which starred Superstar Rajinikanth in an extended cameo, didn't meet box-office expectations.

However, it's also worth noting that Lyca's Vettaiyan, which stars Rajinikanth in the lead, is also slated for an October release. Besides that, the production house also has Indian 2, which is set to arrive in cinemas worldwide on July 12.

If all the movies are released as planned, it will bring the producers much-needed relief from their financial woes.

Next week, the main cast and crew, including Ajith, Trisha, and Arjun Sarja, will leave for Azerbaijan to resume the shoot for Vidaa Muyarchi.
