Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty's Singham Again to NOT avert clash with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Ever since the time the Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again had got announced, it had been making news and for all the right reasons. Thanks to the past successes that Rohit Shetty had with the Singham series, his upcoming film Singham Again has now become one of the hottest properties in the Bollywood right now.

Looking back, the film Singham Again was supposed to be released on August 15. Just as when everyone was eagerly waiting to see the trio of Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar in action, the original Singham Ajay Devgn had a shocking announcement during the trailer launch of Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha. It was at the trailer launch that he revealed that, the film Singham Again will be postponed as there were a bit of work which was pending in the film.

So, the latest (read ‘postponed’) release date of the film was of Diwali this year. In other words, this year’s Diwali will see the clash of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which stars Kartik Aaryan. As per a report in Mid Day, there was a meeting which took place between Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn (Singham Again), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s producer Bhushan Kumar.

The source-based news report stated that the, the agenda of the aforementioned meeting was to find out a mid-way or an amicable solution for the two films (Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3) to avoid competing and clashing with each other. The makers of both the films were really confident about their respective films, thanks to the loyal fanbase that both these films had collected over the years with its previous instalments.

The same report stated that, Bhushan Kumar felt (read ‘was confident about’) both the films (Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3) will land up earning Rs. 500 crore. At the same time, he was also reportedly concerned about the two films not being able to reach to their fullest potential because of the conflict, and that’s why he (reportedly) asked Rohit and Ajay to get their film out sooner rather than later.

As per the said article, it was also mentioned that the makers of Singham Again had already postponed their film to avoid the clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, something that they do not want to do it this time. It was also mentioned that, delaying the release of Singham Again further won't help.

That’s why, Singham Again is being seen all geared up to be released in theatres on Diwali, as per the schedule. Watch this space for updates and developments.
