Ajay Devgn reveals he hasn't watched Gangubai Kathiawadi or RRR, says 'I don't watch a lot of movies'
Ajay Devgn has confirmed that he hasn't seen many of his own films including RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Ajay Devgn is a passionate actor and director who has been going strong in the film industry for over three decades. While the audiences flock to see his films in cinemas every time one releases, Ajay has confessed in a recent interview that he hasn’t seen many of his own films.
The Runway 34 actor was asked if it is really true that he hasn’t watch his wife Kajol ’s iconic 90’s blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge while being interviewed by Mashable India. He not only confirmed that he hasn’t seen Shah Rukh and Kajol’s film but said that he hasn’t even found the time in his schedule to which his own recent hits like RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi.
"I haven't, I don't watch a lot of movies. I still haven't watched RRR and Gangubai as well. I haven't watched many films, I haven't even watched many of my films. Sometimes what happens is that you get so busy at the time of the film's release, that you don't watch it, and later you skip it. That time is lost,” Ajay said.
The actor whose film Runway 34 released in cinemas yesterday that even when he is at home he doesn’t like to catch up with the old films of his that he hasn’t seen. “I don’t like to sit at home and watch my own films on OTT and all. I feel I would have done terrible work so I don’t watch it,” the Singham star said.
On being asked if he’s someone who is self-critical Ajay said that he’s not when he’s doing a project but once a few months have passed he feels he could have done better which keeps him from going back and watching those films.
Ajay has directed his film Runway 34 which also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan along with him. The aviation thriller based on a true incident arrived in cinemas on 29 April.
