There were many speculations surrounding Tiger Shroff ’s upcoming actioner Screw Dheela which is to be produced by Karan Johar . Some reports stated that the project has been shelved owing to the budget issues and the increase in Bollywood movies tanking badly at the box office. However, now KJo’s Dharma Productions has released an official statement wherein they have rubbished all the rumors of the movie being shelved but have instead announced that the film has been delayed.

The production house’s statement read, “Dharma Productions and Tiger Shroff share an incredible relationship. Apart from Screw Dheela, Tiger Shroff to collaborate with Dharma Productions for another massive action film. Screw Dheela is delayed due to date issues, shoot to commence later next year."

Well, while this puts the speculations of the Tiger Shroff starrer being shelved to rest, one cannot help but think about the several fiascos surrounding the movie ever since its announcement. Is this history repeating itself with Karan Johar after Dostana 2? For the unversed, Karan had a fallout with Kartik Aaryan resulting in Dostana 2 being indefinitely shelved. It was reported that Kartik had several issues regarding adjusting his dates for the film along with some rumors of him hiking his fee and wanting more screen space in the project.
