After Karan Johar announces Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter's break up, latter gets ready for his koffee date

Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan has been making some riveting revelations ever since it returned after almost four years with the new season. In the last episode, the filmmaker confirmed that Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter were once a real-life couple. Though Ananya has still maintained stoic silence about her break-up with Ishaan. It cannot be assumed that Ishaan does the same as he is all set to grace the infamous couch in the coming episode.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Ishaan dropped a string of pictures of himself dressed in a printed white shirt paired with white jeans. Alongside the picture, he confirmed his appearance on the chat show. He also left for fans to guess his Koffee date as he wrote, “Koffee date with—(dash) #KoffeeWithKaranSeason7.” Soon after his post surfaced, fans left hilarious answers in the comment section. While one user wrote, “Bhoot…”, another wrote, “Siddhant Chaturvedi”. “With anyone but not Karan please,” added another.

For the uninitiated, Ishaan and Ananya fall for each other on the sets of their movie Khaali Peeli. They reportedly dated for nearly three years but soon after broke up. Although, the two never confirmed or denied their relationship. It was during the recent episode that Ananya, who shared the couch with her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda, faced the question about her relationship with Ishaan. During the conversation, Karan mentioned that she broke up with Ishaan, after which Ananya pretended not to hear him. But Karan further stressed, "You were dating Ishaan, then you broke up. Come on, everybody knew you were dating Ishaan." Ananya remained tight-lipped although rolled her eyes trying to be discreet.

In terms of work, Ishaan will be next seen in Phone Bhoot, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Touted to be a horror comedy, the movie is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and backed by Excel Entertainment. It will release on November 4. On the other hand, Ananya is geared up for Liger which is slated to hit theatres on August 25.
