Aditi Rao Hydari pens a note for fiancé Siddharth for winning two Filmfare awards: ‘When good cinema wins..’

    Actress Aditi Rao Hydari shared a social media post for Siddharth after he won two Filmfare awards for his film Chithha.

    Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari announced her engagement with longtime boyfriend Siddharth in March this year. The two have not shied away from expressing their love for one another ever since. Now, Aditi has shared a picture of Siddharth with his two Filmfare awards and saying that 'when good cinema wins, we all win'.

    Aditi Rao Hydari shared a picture of actor Siddharth lying on his bed with his two Filmfare awards and a picture of his film Chithha’s poster. She captioned the post by congratulating the team of Chithha for these awards. She wrote, “2=7! #chithha at @filmfare 2024 Congratulations to the team! When artistry is rewarded, when good people win, when good cinema wins, we all win!”

    She went on to write a few lines for her fiancé Siddharth and his passion for films. She wrote, “@worldofsiddharth More power to you, to your hard work, your determination to tell stories from the heart, more power to push for craft, to work against all the odds with a childlike joy!”

    The actress added, “Keep creating, keep dreaming, may the little cinema boy in you always be brimming with ideas and excitement with the utmost curiosity and honesty.”

    Aditi concluded by writing, “To your very own own ‘cinema Paradiso’ legacy. You learnt from best and here you are... simply and effortlessly the bestest.”

    Siddharth’s Chithha won seven Filmfare awards this year. Helmed by Arun Kumar, Chithha starred Siddharth, Baby Sahasra Shree, Nimisha Sajayan and Anjali Nair. The film was produced by Siddharth under his banner Etaki Entertainment.

    Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari had a secret engagement ceremony. To clear the air surrounding the rumours of their marriage, the two posted a picture announcing that they are engaged and will be married soon. In the picture, the couple is flaunting their engagement rings and captioned the post, “He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D.” Siddharth also shared the same photo. During the interaction, Aditi also revealed that this photograph was taken at her home.  Their engagement had become the talk of the town at the time.

    On the professional front, while Siddharth was last seen in Chithha, Aditi was last featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
