Actress Divya Seth Shah’s daughter Mihika passes away, family to hold a prayer meet in Mumbai

Popular actress Divya Seth Shah’s daughter Mihika Shah breathed her last on August 5. Announcing the tragic news on her social media handle, Divya shared a poster image of a prayer meeting to be held for her daughter.

Mihika Shah passes away

Mihika Shah, the granddaughter of actress Sushma Seth and daughter of actress Divya Seth Shah, passed away on Monday.

Taking to social media, Divya shared a poster image and announced that she and her husband Siddharth Shah will be hosting a prayer meeting on August 8 in Mumbai. The poster said, “With profound sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5, 2024.”

According to reports, Mihika had been suffering from prolonged illness though the family has not released any official statement about the cause of her death yet.

Divya Seth has featured in films like Jab We Met, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Article 370, along with popular television soap operas such as Banegi Apni Baat and Dekh Bhai Dekh.

For those unaware, Divya’s mother, Sushma is a veteran actress who featured in films like Hum Log, Dhadkan, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham among others.

Mihika’s heartfelt social media posts

Mihika had been active on social media and dedicated her last post to her maternal grandmother, by sharing a video of her. She captioned the post, “Lunch date with Nani at her favourite MamaGoto. Fun times with Sushi, eating sushi. Love you to the moon and back Nani.”

Earlier, Mihika had shared a birthday post for her mother on social media on April 2 this year. She shared a video featuring a collection of her childhood pictures and captioned it, “When I look at you, I see the purest love I'll ever know, Every wounded soul finds their way to you, in your care they heal and grow, Divya, gods gift, my blessing from above, who's love is stronger than the eye can see, in 8.1 billion people on earth mama, your the perfect mother for me, Happy Birthday my Dibi, I love you.”

Mihika in her social media bio described herself as a wildlife photographer and documentarist.
