The Greatest of All Time director Venkat Prabhu had recently announced that his brother, actor-singer Premgi Amaren, would be getting married. Today, on June 9, 2024, the director took to his social media handles to share the pictures of the newlywed couple, Premgi and his bride, Indu.

The director congratulated the couple on this special occasion and wrote, “Finallllllllllyyyyy!!!!!! Love u @premgi best wishes to the newly wed #InduPremgi.” The wedding took place at Thirutheni Temple, and new pictures of the couple have been receiving a lot of love from many celebrities in the industry.
Premgi Amaren, who is best known for his comedic roles in his brother’s directorial films, has made appearances in films such as Mankatha, Chennai 600028, Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings, and so on.
Although much details of Indu are not known, a few reports suggest that the young bride works at a bank in Salem, Tamil Nadu, and hails from the region. Reports also reveal that the newlywed couple had been in a relationship for a few years before finally deciding to tie the knot in a traditional ceremony. Celebrities are congratulating the newlyweds, and the wedding pictures have now gone viral on social media.

Earlier, while breaking the news to his fans, director Venkat Prabhu shared a statement that read, “An auspicious event is about to happen in our family after many years. ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?’ ‘Who has Soppanasundari now?’, ‘When will Premgi get married?’ To answer that question, on June 9th, in the presence of family and close friends, Premgi will hold hands with the girl he loves, with his mother's blessings. We want to have this much-awaited wedding with close relatives and friends in a simple way!”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Venkat Prabhu, who is working with Thalapathy Vijay on his upcoming sci-fi action thriller The Greatest of All Time, has also roped in his brother Premgi for a key role. Although the details of his role are yet to be disclosed, more exciting updates about the film are expected to be released by the director soon. The movie is currently in its final stage of production and will have a grand worldwide release on September 5, 2024.
